In my new release, Armed and Desired, my heroine, Alyssa, discovers she has a think for dirty talk. The words ramp her desire up to new levels, especially when it’s Nate husky voice delivering the pitches.
That little revelation with Alyssa got me curious to see just how common it was. I mean, who doesn’t like a little dirty talk now and then. And more so, does it go both ways? For a man…as it does a woman.
Leave it to me not to run short on running into any males, especially where they dominate my career field. For this little experiment, I wanted a bit of a variety, so I had to go outside my normal “guinea pigs” and get a broader scope of males. You’ll see, in the results below, I managed to snag four boys, all of them named after their profession. We have a thirty-nine year old military guy (MG), a thirty-four year old federal agent (FA), a thirty-three year old banker (BA), and a thirty-seven year old police officer (PO).
So, for my first question, I asked: “Dirty talk. What does it do for you, and do you do it in return?”
BA: Yes, I love it. It actually turns me on a lot and I definitely return the favor.
MG: Yes, I like dirty talk. I like to be told how I feel (meaning, what it feels like to have me inside) and the occasional, “get it,” or “it’s yours, take it how you want it,” is nice. I do a little back, but not a ton because I don’t want to cross a line, then ruin it.
FA: I’ll be honest, I love dirty talk to a certain point. I’m not much of a porn guy, so if you’re throwing out port shit that just sounds fake, I’m not into it and it turns me off. When you talk dirty and tell me what you like, I’m totally turned on. In bed, I’m not much of a dirty talker. I just go to work to please. It’s funny, because I can sext like a champ, and then I get in bed and I just act out what I told you I was going to do.
PO: What man doesn’t like a blunt woman? One who will tell them exactly what’s on her mind… If it comes out as dirty talk, all the more better. To me, I like dirty talk, as long as it doesn’t sound fake. The key is to just let it come out naturally. You tell me you like something, to me that is dirty talk, and it’s hotter than anything else.
Question #2: “Is there a line for you? One that if you cross it, dirty talk turns sleazy and weird?”
BA: When dirty talking? No.
MG: In term of talk? I’m not a fan of being called “daddy.” That creeps me out. “Papi” is a whole other thing though. I love that one.
FA: Haha! I’m not into gagging women, so if I get asked if I can, we’ve reached a point.
PO: When it sounds fake. That is a complete turn off.
Question #3: “What’s the best line you’ve given, and the worse you’ve heard?”
BA: (Gives me a blank look. And ladies, he’s still thinking this over. *laughs)
MG: Best line was when I was at school in Hurlburt field and was partying with AC 130 pilots and they said they were dolphin trainers at Sea World. They even had badges made! LOL. I’m not a big line guy, but I’m sure I’ve done the good old fashion, “you come here often” line. LOL. Don’t judge me!
FA: I don’t know. Like I said, I’m not a big talker. Worst I’ve heard…I haven’t reached that yet. I just remember someone telling me “right there” repeatedly. I had to laugh, then ask, “I’m sorry. Where?”
PO: I like the one where you go up and you’re like, “Excuse me, I’m sorry to bother you, but you see my friend over there? He thinks you’re cute.” The worst would have to be where someone has a screw in their pocket and they pull it out, hold it out and say, “You wanna screw.” Or…how about the one where they tell you that your shirt looks very becoming on you, but if I was on you, I’d be coming too. Or….
*laughs* You honestly don’t want to know how many our trust PO knew when it came to lines. The moral of the story is, test out some dirty talk with your partner, keep it simple, natural, and go for it!
